Books & Resources

  • The Top Five Regrets of the Dying / Bronnie Ware - This book takes a look at what people think about and reflect on as they sit in the final days of their lives. What can we learn from those that are on their final days of living? Such an inspirational book.

  • The Depression of Grief / Alan D. Wolfelt, Ph.D. - This is my favorite book on grief. The information is insightful and useful throughout life. One I come back to often.

  • Lessons for Living / Phil Stutz - There are so many gems in this book. I see something new on every page, each time I open it up.

  • Man’s Search for Meaning / Victor E. Frankl - Possibly the greatest book on how we can find meaning in any situation.

  • Trauma and the Soul / Donald Kalsched - Trauma can be layer on layer on layer. It’s dense, and impacts us for a lifetime. This thought provoking book takes an in depth look at how trauma plays a part in our entire being.

  • Narcissism / Alexander Lowen, M.D. - Narcissism has such variety of ways of presenting itself in us as humans. This book looks at the aspects of where it comes from and how it shows up in our lives.

  • Romancing the Shadow / Connie Zweig, Ph.D. and Steve Wolf, Ph.D. - Shadow work originated from Carl Jung. He looked at the impact our bodies take when we haven’t acknowledged our past selves, or shadow selves. In doing so, we’re able to feel a sense of self and freedom we may have never experienced before.

  • Staring at the Sun / Irvin D. Yalom - Our own mortality can weigh on us our entire lives. Yalom takes a look at our own unconscious minds and how they can impact our existence as death anxiety can be the price we pay for our own self-awareness.
